It started broadcasting as “Viewsic” in July 1998 and changed its channel name to “MUSIC ON! TV (M On!)” in May 2004. With the theme of “If you want to watch live shows, choose M On!”, it delivers about 100 stages of live content annually. Moreover, it delivers a wide variety of programs such as special artist programs, the latest hit chart shows, music variety shows, the latest hit and artist information, Western music, anime songs, K - POP, etc. to approximately 7.35 million households nationwide on a daily basis through SKY PerfecTV!, J:COM, Hikari TV, and cable TVs across the country.

Internationally renowned pianist Alfred Brendel delivers three different lectures: 'Does Classical Music Have to Be Entirely Serious?', 'Musical Characters', and 'Light and Shade of Interpretation'. Using his piano throughout to illustrate various ideas and concepts. The subject matter for the different sessions include the use of humour in classical music, Beethoven's sonatas, and interpretation.
